Wild pearl of the balearic island...

Selected as a Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations since 1993, the island of Menorca is a paradise for hiking, sea kayaking and holidays in general. The warm welcome and cheerfulness of the Spanish, as well as the typical restaurants and cheap tapas bars will delight those who choose this destination.

The unique geology of the island offers a great diversity of landscapes, while almost half of the territory is under protection of natural parks or classified as a special area of natural interest, including two marine reserves.

The contrast between small sandy beaches, rocky areas with bright or solemn colours, coastal ports and villages offer a perfect balance for a kayak discovery adventure.

Menorca is an island reserve with stunning, wild landscapes, but it also has agricultural and wetland areas inland. The Cami de Cavalls (GR 233), an extraordinary hiking trail, offers a tour of the island (coastal path), with trails of great beauty which offer alternatives to navigation if you wish to see the island under a different light.

With the 200 kilometres of coastline, Menorca has 2 possible routes (North or South Coast). They are equally enjoyable, and the choice for one or the other will be determined by the weather forecast of the week.
